The Wharf will also feature multiple forms of sustainable production and conservation including a co-generation plant, solar panels, and energy-efficient lighting. At full build-out, there will be 14 signature buildings new residential, office, hotel, retail, cultural, private event, marina, and public spaces, including waterfront parks, piers, and docks. These are linked by a waterside promenade with more than 50 restaurants and shops stretching a mile along the waterfront.

Hoffman-Madison Waterfront is also working to restore DC’s historic 200-year-old fish market. Together they are creating a neighborhood that will redefine DC as a waterfront destination. And Champion is excited to be a part of such an innovative project.
